Our studios work tirelessly to ensure that your Verlas jewelry is nothing short of perfection. If you’re not satisfied with your jewelry or received a damaged product or in case of any other concerns please notify us within 24 (twenty-four) hours of receiving the package. Please note that any claim for non-receipt of a product or empty box will be entertained only if submitted within 24 (twenty four) hours of receipt along with an unboxing video of the product, which includes the original outer seal and only after our internal verification of the authenticity of the unboxing video and any other content, following which any further action or return may be initiated. The decision of the Studio in such cases shall be final and binding on you.
If you change your mind about your purchase, it’s no problem! Either way, just make sure your product has the tag on, in case you’re looking to return, we offer a return period of 30 (thirty) days.
Returning Your Jewelry:
All of your Verlas jewelry is eligible for return, subject to the conditions set out in this return policy. Every return is processed through a standard inspection, which requires 7-10 working days after the product is received at our Studio. All returned purchases must be in original condition (unworn, tagged, and unaltered with no missing parts) and accompanied by the invoice, original packaging, certificates, and instructions. Refunds are subject to standard inspection. The decision of Studio in the event of return shall be final and binding on you.
Transport costs for returns will be borne by you, unless the issue is due to our error, in which case we will cover all costs.
Jewelry Inspection
When you return items for refunds or exchanges, we require 7-10 business days after receiving the product at our studio to process your jewelry for a standard inspection.
When returns are received in accordance with the requirements above, you should be all set to receive a confirmation of your refund upon successful inspection.
You will be charged an additional ₹1,500 for missing certificates, or you can ship back the certificate using your preferred shipping carrier.
For missing lab-grown diamonds or broken clasps/chains/hooks, you will be responsible for the cost of the missing/broken parts. More information will be provided by the Concierge based on your returned jewelry.
You may be responsible for the cost of shipping the return, as stated in the policies below.
30-Day Returns for regular and non-engraved jewelry:
When you return your purchase at verlas.in within the first 30 (thirty) days of receipt of the jewelry and in accordance with the requirements on returns and a successful jewelry inspection as mentioned above, your Verlas return will be eligible for a full refund to the original mode of payment, so long as it's not engraved or a bespoke item.
Credit/Debit Card: Refunds typically take 7-10 business days post refund confirmation message from concierge to reflect in your bank account. If it takes longer, please contact your bank for additional information or write to care@verlas.in.
Note: Verlas does not accept requests for returns/ refunds after 30 (thirty) days upon receipt of jewelry.
Enjoy Complimentary Resizing:
We gladly accept one round of resizing for rings within 48 (forty-eight) hours of delivering your jewelry, at no additional craftsmanship charges. Shipping charges may apply. Additional requests for ring resizing are always welcome at any time. Email your request to concierge at care@verlas.in for more info and charges applicable.
Returns for Repairs:
Upon successful inspection, your jewelry requires approximately 2 (two) weeks for repairs. Additional scheduling information, as seen below, should help prepare you to receive your jewelry back within the expected timeline.
Note: The Studio is unable to expedite repairs. In case of time-sensitive occasions, please contact the concierge at care@verlas.in
Upon receiving your returned jewelry, we require 7-10 business days to inspect it. Upon successful inspection, we require approximately 10-12 business days to repair, resize, or engrave a ring, replace chains when received tangled or broken, etc.
If the Studio identifies any additional repairs that may be required but not reported by you, we will communicate such details and any additional charges required. We will proceed upon your approval in such case.
If we require additional time, we will let you know once the return for repair has been fully approved.

Preparing Your Return:
To return an item to verlas.in, please follow these steps:
Make sure that your jewelry has the tags on, is unworn, and unmodified from its original form, has the original jewelry and outer packaging along with all contents and quality certificate.
Step 1 : Email concierge team at care@verlas.in with the following details.

Step 2: Concierge team will review the request if it’s in accordance with the requirements for initiating the return, repair or exchange and respond to you on the same along with shipping details if your order is eligible for a return, repair or exchange.
Step 3: On receipt of eligibility confirmation from the concierge team, please pack the fine jewelry carefully just as it was received and include all original contents of your package mentioned above, including certificates, when shipping back your order. Please ensure that jewelry is sent back in the Verlas outer packing box and not in other company or brand boxes.
Step 4: Once packed and ready, please send a picture of open box with jewelry and closed box and video of packing with contents while filling the box and sealing the same. Refer to this sample video. This is an important step for insurance liability.
Submission of the video showcasing the original jewelry and outer packaging with the original product with tag, invoice and authenticity certificate and all other materials.
However, personalized products are not eligible for returns and can only be returned in case of spurious/defective products.
Step 5: Please write to care@verlas.in in the same mail trail with the package readiness confirmation along with pictures and video mentioned in step 4 for the concierge team to initiate the pick-up.
Step 6: Once the email and contents are reviewed by the concierge team, they will initiate the pick-up request with our delivery partner and notify you with the details. Please handover the parcel only to the designated delivery partner.
Step 7: You may move forward with our shipping partner for insured shipping. The concierge will assist with further photo of the jewelry with all the contents of the package
Please Note: For returns within 30 (thirty) days, ship your package prepaid and insured for the full purchase price of the product. Charges may apply under the terms of the 30-Day Returns Policy for Engraved Jewelry, or those communicated to you via care@verlas.in.
Step 8: On receipt of the return shipment at Verlas studio, all returned jewelry will be inspected by our quality assurance team before we can process a refund. Verlas’s Quality Control Team inspects every product to ensure it is unworn, tagged, unmodified from its original form, and no piece is broken/missing/damaged.

Step 9: Upon successful jewelry inspection as mentioned above, your Verlas return will be eligible for a full refund to the original mode of payment, so long as it's not engraved or a bespoke item. Verlas concierge team will notify you on the same on your registered email id.

Self-Shipping | Customer-arranged Insured Shipping
For select locations, reverse pickup may not be available. In such cases, for any returns, we request customers to return items via insured self-shipping. Our Concierge team will assist throughout the process.
Refunds

Refunds under 30 Days Duration
When you return your purchase at verlas.in within the first 30 (thirty) days of receipt and in accordance with the requirements on returns and a successful jewelry inspection of 7-10 days, your Verlas return will be eligible for a full refund to the original mode of payment, as long as it's not engraved or a bespoke item. Verlas concierge team will notify you on the same on your registered email id.

UPI Payments: UPI payments typically take 24-48 hours to reflect in your bank account.
Verlas shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or inability to process returns, refunds or exchanges, where such delay or failure arises from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, governmental actions, strikes, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, or failures of logistics or communication networks. In such circumstances, the timelines for processing returns, refund or exchanges shall be extended for the duration of the force majeure event.
Note: Verlas does not accept requests for returns/ refunds after 30 (thirty) days upon receipt of jewelry. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
